Bellafill

Bellafill Injections at Advanced Dermatology Care is a revolutionary wrinkle filler for the correction of moderate to deep lines and folds around the mouth, as well as other areas of the face. It is the first and only FDA-approved non-resorbable filler. This means that Bellafill will work with your skin to correct your wrinkles for years after you receive your treatments. Bellafill is also the only dermal filler on the market approved for the correction of moderate to severe, atrophic, distensible facial acne scars on the cheek in patients over the age of 21 years. BellaFill was approved by the FDA in 2006.

JUVÉDERM

Touted as the “next generation” of facial fillers, JUVÉDERM injectable gels gently smooth wrinkles and folds around the mouth and nose and restore a youthful volume to the face.* Made with hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the body that works with collagen and elastin to provide volume and support to the skin, JUVÉDERM is especially effective on smile lines and “parentheses” (nasolabial folds) that run from the bottom of the nose to the sides of the mouth.* Treatment takes only 15 minutes with immediate results and no downtime. Results typically last about 6 – 9 months.*

JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA XC

The newest member of the JUVÉDERM family was formulated as an effective lip enhancement treatment. VOLBELLA is a non-surgical, non-invasive lip filler treatment that provides smooth, gradual improvement in the appearance of your lips.*

JUVÉDERM Voluma XC

JUVÉDERM Voluma XC injectable gel is the first and only filler FDA-approved to instantly add volume to the cheek area. It gives you a subtle lift, helping to restore contour and a more youthful profile, for up to 2 years, in patients over the age of 21.* It’s different than JUVÉDERM® XC and works on a different area of the face. JUVÉDERM XC smoothes out moderate to severe wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth, like parentheses.* JUVÉDERM Voluma XC, however, adds volume to the cheek area.*

JUVÉDERM Vollure XC

JUVÉDERM VOLLURE XC is the newly FDA-approved injectable filler designed to add volume beneath the nasolabial fold (laugh lines) to lift and contour using Vycross® technology which creates a more connected gel (firm enough to fill and soft enough for natural movement), to create a more youthful appearance.* Its breakthrough is that it’s more natural-looking and lasts a full year longer than other injectables on the market.*

The fact that VOLLURE lasts so long makes it very appealing to those who want to “fill it and forget it”. Clinical study results of 18 months are based on optimal correction.* Results may vary.*

Radiesse

Facial volume loss is the biggest factor in how you look as you age. There is a literal change from the youthful “V” shape to a more box-like shape. Radiesse is designed to create a 3D lift effect and more definitive contouring.*

Radiesse® is a high-viscosity filler with longer term action than Hyaluronic gels, natural elasticity and collagen-stimulating power.* For dermal support to improve facial shape, Radiesse has remarkable staying power. The tiny microspheres – made of a calcium-based material – provide a scaffolding into which your body’s own tissue can grow and maintain the microspheres in place. Because of the density of Radiesse, it is used often to alter the shape of the nose, augment the chin or cheekbone area and is used to provide a more masculine jawline for men. Once injected, it feels perfectly natural and no one would suspect you have had filler injected.*

Radiesse “degrades” much more slowly than hyaluronic gel fillers and thus can provide improvements up to 18 months.*

Restylane Lyft

Restylane Lyft is a member of the Restylane family of products from Galderma, a respected manufacturer. Like Restylane, Restylane Lyft is made of hyaluronic acid gel particles. But these particles in Restylane Lyft are larger, so they provide enhanced volume and lifting power that’s ideal for wrinkle and fold correction in deeper layers of the skin.*

Restylane Silk

While there have been a number of effective fillers used off-label for lip enhancement and smoothing of wrinkles around the lips, Restylane Silk is an FDA-approved product used for this purpose. As we get older, our lips too show telltale signs of aging. Our once plumpish lips get thinner and begin to lose shape. Most noticeably, wrinkles begin to appear around the mouth and lips – smile lines that were once cute and added personality become too broad and deep, making us look old and as if we are always frowning.

For some of us too, our lips have always felt less full and shapely than we’d like. Restylane Silk address both the aging impact as well the concerns of those who – regardless of age – would like fuller and more naturally kissable lips. (Note: Restylane Silk is only approved for ages 21+).

While FDA-approved for lips, Restylane Silk can also be used to correct other fine lines including crow’s feet, forehead lines, and horizontal neck lines. Restylane Silk – because of its small particle size – is also ideal for correcting volume loss in the upper eyelid, tear troughs, and eyebrow.

Sculptra

Sculptra is a new injectable used to fight wrinkles and sagging skin by stimulating the skin’s collagen production to help restore the cheeky plumpness of healthy skin. It is an alternative anti-aging treatment to injectable dermal fillers, skin creams, fat injections and implants. Collagen is an important structural protein found in connective tissue. Its function is to keep the skin firm, youthful and smooth. As you age, your body’s collagen production decreases, and you may begin to see wrinkles or sagging. Fat loss beneath the skin also results in drooping skin, hollowed cheeks, indentations and depressions in the face.

As Sculptra stimulates your skin to regrow its own natural collagen over time, it helps to correct shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds resulting in a firmer, younger looking skin. It is important that you understand that Sculptra is simply a collagen stimulator. The Sculptra itself is NOT providing the filling action; the Sculptra causes a reaction in the skin, which forms new collagen. The Sculptra itself is absorbed by the tissue and is gone about 2 years after a treatment, but the new collagen layer which is left behind may last 2 or more years. Sculptra requires a SERIES of treatments to achieve adequate filling for most skin defects.
