How To Get Glowing Summer Skin

Off

Summer is the season to enjoy outdoors, wear summer dresses and enjoy delicious fruits. But the heat and warmth of the sun and hot winds tend to damage the skin. The harsh weather makes the skin rough and dull, and causes the pores to be clogged with sweat, dust and dirt. Special attention should be given to the skin to keep it healthy and glowing during summer.

Glowing skin is something that we also wish to get in all seasons. With summer here, you can stay happy with all sorts of fun activities; but if your skin becomes dull during the process, here are some tips to get your skin absolutely glowing for summer.

Hydrate. Many of us live in a constant state of dehydration. Even a small degree of dehydration can significantly impact our cellular function and our body’s natural detoxification. This can take its toll on our skin very quickly, making it appear dull or dry, and even lacking elasticity and plumpness. We need around eight glasses of water a day, more if we’re exercising. Carry around a bottle of water with you and you’ll be amazed at how much more water you drink.

Avoid junk food. It not only creates a deficiency of nutrients, but also leads to an increase of toxins in the body and not to forget junk food is terrible for the skin. Instead, eat food rich in vitamins and minerals—they are a great way to detoxify your body.

Apply toner. Mix a pinch of camphor with a few drops of vitamin E oil and rose water. Properties of these three ingredients will leave your skin soft and nourished.

Exfoliate. Don’t suffocate your skin with dead skin cells and bacteria. If you aren’t already using a beauty device, it’s time to update your skin care regimen. You should use an exfoliating device two to three times per week to get rid of excess buildup and clear your pores. Exfoliating not only gives you a deep clean, it also makes your sin dewy and radiant.

Moisturize. Replenish and lock in moisture with products specific to your skin type. If you have dry skin, use a hydrating mask at least once a week and apply a moisturizing face cream in the morning and at night. If you have combination/oily skin, opt for a moisturizer that is oil-free and lighter—and try using an exfoliating mask.
